On Sunday 28 May we come to the end of the Season of Easter with the celebration of Pentecost Sunday. This day marks the birth of Christianity and we are filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Each one of is born with a unique combination of gifts or abilities that make us who we are. As Christians, we believe these gifts are from God. Pentecost kindles a deeper awareness of our gifts and inspires us to awaken a Spirit of hope, courage and love in the everyday actions of our lives. St Frances Cabrini calls to us:
