Today, July 12, we began the day with prayer led by Sr. Assunta Scopelliti MSC, in Italian.
Sr. Joan McGlinchey MSC, with the contribution of Sister Melanie Di Pietro SC, presented a report done by the Committee responsible to review the consultation results on our Constitutions. We discussed the issue of possible modifications to the Constitutions at our tables. A small team was assigned to formulate a draft mandate for comprehensive review.
We also began the process of drafting the mandates and recommendations for Mission for the next six-year period. It was an afternoon of intense, enriching work. We emphasized the relevant aspects needed to formulate the mandates and recommendations that will guide us in living our missionary life into the future.
After sharing at tables and plenary, we concluded the day with a moment of prayer.
