Dear Sisters and Partners in Mission, a blessed feast of our Mother and Patroness, Frances Cabrini. In wishing you all the greatest blessings on this feast day, I would like to share with you Mother Cabrini’s deepest wish for the sisters and lay people who share her charism and spirituality:
The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus…have as their purpose the spread of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ throughout the earth.
Our mission is worldwide evangelization, to inflame all people with the love of Jesus Christ, without distinction of race or nationality, embracing all
rich or poor, educated or uneducated.
We hope to expand our reach to the ends of the earth.

This wish of Mother Cabrini is important to remember as many of us gather at the end of this month to plan for the future of our works in the Region of the Holy Spirit.
May the Holy Spirit inspire us to be worthy of such a profound and beautiful charism.
