Uganda –  Activities  of  the  MSC  Community,  July  2020

During the strict Covid-19 lockdown in Uganda, we have been involved in the following activities since we are not able to go to visit the people in the Settlements nor other areas. We have been preparing our community garden area for cultivation – sowing seeds for vegetables & fruit trees, plus cleaning our compound and many other simple activities. We have planted some of the things , which are growing so well, and we are enjoying at our table!

We have had meetings with the Settlement and Host Parish Committees, including the Catechists, to plan activities for youth and adult men and women for their Christian Development.

In every Chapel area, they are working hard together, busy sowing and planting different kinds of seeds. After working we ate lunch together.

We gave pieces of land from our community garden area for the parish youth to work for their future growth, so they are also busy sowing and planting. Sr Addise is a member of the Parish Committee for youth and is working and encouraging them in their activities. (Thanks to Sr. Addise, MSC, for this update)

~ thanks to the Holy Spirit Newsletter for this piece
