On Wednesday December 15, Sr. Barbara Staley and the Community of the Generalate in Rome received the visit of a dear friend of us Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: Mr. Eustace Wolfington.

Mr. Wolfington is a great friend of our Cabrinian family since 1955 and he is in Rome right now because he is the one who commissioned the making of a film dedicated to our Founder Frances Xavier Cabrini.
The film, directed by director Alejadro Monteverde, is being shot right now in Italy.

We were honored and delighted to receive the visit of Mr. Wolfington, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts for the passion and dedication with which he puts forth his resources to help us and allow the life and story of Mother Cabrini to be told and to change the lives of many people around the world.

He himself said in an interview with Stefano Vaccara: “I began to be interested in Mother Cabrini in 1955. I went to a church in Pennsylvania where I had never been before, and I saw a statue of this woman. What an incredible woman, I thought. I had realized what a leader she was, what a great entrepreneur and what incredible vision she had. From that moment on she became my patron saint.”
