Today the General Council of the Missionary Sister of the Sacred Heart of Jesus received the visit of the Leadership Team of the Scalabrinian Sisters.
It was an occasion to see each other and to discuss and update about the project Chaire Gynai.
The project is carried out in Rome by the Scalabrinian Sisters in two reception facilities of the MSCs: one in semi-autonomy for refugee women with children and one dedicated to welcoming migrant women in particular situations of vulnerability.
It has the aim of promoting and integrating refugee women alone or with children and migrant women in a vulnerable situation with respect to work, education, health and other issues related to work.
We were particularly happy because it was the first time we had a meeting in presence since the beginning of the pandemic and we thank God all of us received the vaccine.
