From April 12 to 15, some Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from the Mater Gratiae Province of Italy and Spain participated in the 52nd National Week for Institutes of Consecrated Life in Madrid.
The event was organized by the Theological Institute of Religious Life, and this year’s theme was “Weaving Itineraries of Hope.”
It was four days of listening to the Word of God and our words. We asked ourselves what are the words to say that express hope; what are the meanings of words and how they can make people reflect, speak, and change.
We then reflected on how Christ is our Hope, and how nothing can separate us from God’s love, manifested in Christ. Christ must be at the center of our lives, so we can listen to God and do His will.
It was four days where we could nurture our hope in God.
