Love and Resilience – Updates from Eswatini

Here in our community in Eswatini we helping and encouraging each other in our daily prayer. We try to feed each other sharing our joys and sorrows.

In this time we are nourishing our soul with the word of God: it is our strength and our hope.

During this time of lockdown, we’re doing many activities in St Philips mission, reaching out the most vulnerable, especially the ones who are suffering from hunger and illness, and providing free school to children who are living in very remotes areas, food and health care.

Twice a week we are teaching to the workers how to be conscious regarding COVID-19.

We are serving people in a safe way, wearing PPE, personal protective equipment, cleaning all the areas, sanitizing the surfaces, providing the water to wash their hands frequently and ordering the clients to keep self-distancing.

We are trying to encourage them with the Word of God, who in Johns gospel 11. 4  said “This illness is not to end in death, 2 but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

This is not the end of the world, we have hope in Jesus so we continue our service even through challenges. I believe that He is with us, He’s walking with us. I am happy to share my experiences with all of you.
May the God keep us safe in love.
