On August 20, the Cabrini Youth Center received an award from the Legislative Assembly of Piauì and a solemn ceremony was organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this institution.
Deputy Francesco Lima, vice president of Alpi, promoter of the ceremony, thanked the Director of the Center, Sr. Denise Alves Morra, and all the sisters who in recent years have assisted more than 72 thousand children in Vila Irmã Dulce. On August 21, Sr. Maria Eliane and Sr. Stella Maris visited the assisted families in the Vila Irmã Dulce neighborhood and the missionary communities of Piauí and Maranhão. Commemorations began on August 22. A Mass was held on the theme "I am part of this story", an invitation to reflect on the journey they had undertaken, and a time of sharing followed in the evening.
On August 23, at the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Teresina in Piauì, a Thanksgiving Mass celebrated the 25 years of the center. Presiding over the celebration were Archbishop Father Juarez, Parish Priest, Pe. Roberlan, Fathers Amarildo, Rubens and Gean, as well as General Superior Sr. Maria Eliane. The children then performed "Violets in my boat" and "Sing, sing girl". Also on 25 August, there were representations of the Cycle of Hope and in the following days for the Cycle of Peace. Other celebrations continued in the following days such as the concert of the PMPI band that performed international classics and the hymn of the 2025 Jubilee and capoeira performances by the youth.
