For generations, the presence of the Missionary Sisters has enriched the lives of Cabrini students, guiding young women to become “more fully the women God created them to be.”  This year’s ceremony paid special tribute to five remarkable sisters whose lives and ministries continue to inspire the Cabrini community.
Each award reflects the unique qualities of these women and recognizes students who carry their legacy forward.
 
The Mother Christine Perazzoli Award honors students who exemplify poise, gentleness, virtue, and scholarship. Sister Christine, a former teacher, principal, and Cabrini’s first president, set a standard of dignity and academic excellence that continues to shape the school today. Congratulations to Ava Partain (8th), Micah Mosely (9th), Reilly May (11th), and Sarah Lotten (12th), who embody these qualities.
The Sister Catherine Garry Award celebrates leadership, compassion, and spiritual strength. Known for her wisdom and kindness, Sister Catherine encouraged generations of students to grow into confident and capable young women. This year’s recipients are Annalise Collins (12th), Bailey May (11th), Josephine Bacino (11th), and Sofia Zavala (9th).
The Sister Victoria Dority Award recognizes students who demonstrate perseverance, courage, and joy in the face of challenges. Sister Victoria’s life of faith and her inspirational presence continue to resonate within the Cabrini community. Honorees include Scarlett Ruiz (11th), Maci Williams (10th), Emily Zavala Maldonado (11th), Celeste Sanchez, Ruby Tebbe Crump (12th), and Raimee Collins (12th).
 
The Sister Alice Zanon Award is presented to students who live out their faith with devotion and a spirit of adventure. Sister Alice’s global ministry and deep commitment to her students left a lasting impression on Cabrini. This year’s recipients are Avery Crescioni (11th), Emily Ward (9th), Genevieve Cruz (11th), Tiah Grigsby (11th), and Madison Westcott (11th).
The Sister Catherine DeFranco Award honors students who demonstrate hard work, joy, and a generous spirit. Remembered for her warmth and dedication, Sister Catherine’s legacy lives on in the relationships she built and the love she shared. Congratulations to Chloe Soloman (11th), Elysia Holmes (11th), Lorena Gonsoulin (11th), Sabine Noveh (10th), and Mary Harris (9th).
 
In addition to these honors, Cabrini also recognized nominees for the prestigious Mother Cabrini Award, given to a senior who exemplifies selflessness, compassion, and a deep commitment to the school’s core values. The 2026 nominees are Annalise Collins, Makayla Richoux, Emma Brune, and Aubrey Knight, with the winner to be announced at graduation.
These awards are more than recognition. They are a celebration of a living legacy. Through faith, leadership, and service, these students carry forward the mission of the Missionary Sisters and ensure that the spirit of Cabrini continues to thrive for generations to come.
