On the third day of the Global Assembly, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus began the day with morning prayer, celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Aparecida with a procession accompanied by the statue of the Virgin carried by Sr. Roseni and Sr. Maria.
Afterwards, the sisters worked and shared, again with the help of facilitators on various topics, on being seeds of hope in the world through their mission. They carried out activities on the theme “our mission as seeds of hope in the world” and then “pilgrims of hope with light luggage.” As a sign of this, the sisters planted seeds in the ground and wrote on a leaf what their seed of hope is. In the previous days, they worked on other signs, in particular on the first day on the flames of light and the wind of hope.
In the afternoon, the Superior General, Sr. Maria Eliane Azevedo da Silva, expressed words of thanks together with the Provincial and Regional Superiors, and a small gift was given to all the sisters.
The day continued with Holy Mass, presided over by Father Leonir Chiarello, Superior General of the Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo - Scalabrinians, and ended with a celebratory dinner.
