On Thursday, February 19, the Cabrini Commission for Global Health held its first webinar of 2026.
The topic was “Care of the Premature Newborn in the NICU” (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), presented by Dr. José Alfonso Gutiérrez Padilla, a renowned Mexican pediatric neonatologist and researcher.
The purpose of this session was to train and strengthen the knowledge of the members of our various missions. The content provided up-to-date and practical tools for the comprehensive care of premature newborns in critical condition.
The importance of this topic lies in its direct impact on reducing complications, improving neonatal survival, and the quality of life of the children cared for.
