Mother Cabrini proclaimed “Woman Builder of Peace” by John Paul II
In 1995, on Sunday, February 19, during the Angelus, Pope John Paul II proclaimed Mother Cabrini a “Woman of Peace.”
Let us read one passage in particular:

"Due to growing migratory flows, which bring millions of people from one nation to another, from one continent to another, especially from developing countries to affluent societies, there is already today—and perhaps even more so in the future—a need for mutual understanding, acceptance, and integration. It is clear, therefore, that building this future requires men and women of peace. In particular, it requires maternal hearts like that of Mother Cabrini, rich in the potential of the feminine soul refined by evangelical love."

Today we remember this title given to Mother Cabrini!
And it is wonderful to discover how relevant the Holy Father's message on migration flows and the relevance of our Foundress was already 31 years ago.
