On the last weekend of September in Paraguay, a pilgrimage of Cabrinian laypeople was held to the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Miracles in Caacupé. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Pedro Collar of the Diocese of Ciudad del Este on the occasion of World Day of Migrants and Refugees. Mother Cabrini is always present as the patroness of migrants, welcoming, promoting, and protecting human dignity.
