Today, February 11, 2026, the day on which Our Lady of Lourdes is celebrated, marks the 34th World Day of the Sick.
On April 6, during his homily for the Jubilee of the Sick and Healthcare Workers, Pope Francis said that by entrusting our pain to Jesus, we can be sure of finding compassion, closeness, and tenderness. Quoting Benedict, he added that “facing suffering together makes us more human.”
During the Jubilee of the World of Health, also celebrated in the Cabrini world, we asked participants from various health missions how their work and that of the organization helped people make an impact in their lives and communities.
