Spiritual Retreat in Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation - Colegio Regina Coeli, Brazil

“You are God’s ‘now.’”

Last Sunday afternoon (July 5), young people and adults from the Catechumenate of St. Manoel Parish participated in a spiritual retreat in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Held at the Regina Coeli College, run by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the gathering had as its theme “You are God’s present moment” and as its motto “You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world” (Mt 5:13–14).

Sister Lúcia Cosme, MSC, explored the theme in depth together with catechist Vitor da Costa Marcelino. Throughout the afternoon, participants engaged in moments of personal prayer, activities, a penitential service, and adoration, strengthening their faith and renewing their commitment to Christ.
