Spain is part of the MSC Mater Gratiae Province, along with Italy, Russia and Switzerland.
The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus are present in Spain with two communities, one in Los Molinos, a Spanish municipality located north of the city, and another in the city of Madrid.
Also in the city of Madrid is the Colegio Cabrini, which in November 2024 celebrated 125 years since the founding of the Mission.

MSC meetings on youth ministry and vocations in Madrid
From January 27 to February 1, a series of meetings is being held in Madrid by a group of Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus involved in youth and vocational ministry.This meeting, organized by the Superior General, Sr. Maria Eliane Azevedo da Silva, MSC, with the help of Sr. Reyna Gonzalez, RSCJ, and Ms. Isabella McCartney, aims to develop a youth and vocational ministry project in the Congregation in response to the conclusions of the 2022 General Chapter.
Participating in the meeting are sr. Patricia Godoy, MSC (Assistant General), sr. Rosa Maria Sousa, MSC (Holy Spirit Region), sr. Emperatriz Canales, MSC (Guadalupe Province), sr. Laura Sanchez, MSC (St. Francis Cabrini Province), and sr. Tatiana Avdokushina, MSC (Mater Gratiae Province). Read More
