Visit of the Ambassador of the Philippines S.E. Domingo P. Nolasco in Rome and in Codogno and visit of the Tabor Church at the Centre of Spirituality Mother Cabrini in Codogno by the Bishop of Lodi, Mons. Malvestitti.
On August, 6 the Philippine Ambassador to the Italian Republic, H.E. Domingo P. Nolasco, visited the Curia in Rome. The Ambassador visited the archives of St. Frances Cabrini and presented our sisters with a Philippine cookbook.
Meanwhile H.E. Malvestitti, the Bishop of Lodi, visited the Church of Tabor in Codogno, as it is the only place that commemorates the celebration of the Transfiguration of the Lord. After praying at Tabor, he celebrated the Eucharist in the Chapel of Sacro Cuore together with the sisters.
H.E. Domingo P. Nolasco the day after visited the birth house of Mother Cabrini near Sant’Angelo Lodigiano.
Afterwards he went to the Cabrini Spirituality Center in Codogno, where he received the gift of a statue of our foundress, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini.
