Every August 17th in Argentina, General José de San Martín is commemorated.

He was an important man in the independence struggles of South America.

One of his greatest feats was to organize an army and cross the Andes, one of the largest mountain ranges in the world, with them, thus securing the independence of Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Many years later, Mother Cabrini, together with her missionaries, also crossed those immense mountains, with a task no less important: to free the hearts of men, women and children on both sides of the mountain range, introducing them to the immense love that God has for them through the Sacred Heart.

These are some photos of the celebrations held in the schools in Argentina, of the Province of Sta. Francesca Cabrini.
