We have collected some good wishes from different realities of the Institute for the entire Cabrinian world and beyond.

Christ is risen, He is risen indeed!

Easter is a cherished time for gathering with loved ones, celebrating the renewal of life, and cherishing family traditions that endure through generations.

As Catholic’s, Easter Sunday marks the pinnacle of our faith—the triumph of Christ’s resurrection over sin and death, offering us the promise of eternal life. As we embrace the warmth of spring and witness nature’s rebirth, we are reminded of the hope and promise that Easter brings.

This year holds special significance for the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as we recently watched Mother Cabrini’s story at the movies, helping to further share Mother’s legacy and Charism with the world. A not so subtle reminder of our commitment to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as we continue to follow in the footsteps of our beloved Mother Cabrini.

Your support is vital to sustaining our mission. I invite you to join us in making a difference this Easter by contributing to the work of the Missionary Sisters. You can learn more about our Foundation and make a donation online at www.cabrinifoundation.org

Your generosity will enable us to continue Mother Cabrini’s legacy of healing, teaching, and caring.

May our tender and loving God make you firm in faith, joyful in hope and active in charity.

I wish you and yours a blessed Easter,

Sr. Pietrina Raccuglia, MSC

Along with the great joy this holy day brings, it also brings a certain wonder. How can Jesus possibly love us this much? And what can we do to respond more fully to that love?

Here is where Mother Cabrini’s tremendous example can help us.

“How much Jesus accomplishes in a soul who clings to him with simplicity and generosity. Let us love, let us love the One whose love is stronger than death… let me repeat this beautiful refrain: “I love you Jesus, I love you so much, so very much. Enlarge my heart so that I can love you more and more.”

“Jesus, God of love… You can move mountains for me if necessary, as long as I try to be exceedingly faithful to you. I want to be faithful even if it should cost me my life… Oh Jesus, make me faithful to you, teach me your will.”

“Make my heart as wide as the universe.”

Let us, like Mother Cabrini, ask Jesus to enlarge our hearts and keep us faithful, so we can serve him gladly and with greater joy.

Yours in the risen Lord,
