“The distance between us does not matter; we are always near each other, always enclosed in the small space of this very small world.” Mother Cabrini

As part of Cabrini Weeks, on Monday, 20 November in the Memorial Garden at Cabrini Malvern, we held our annual Commemorative Service.

Many gathered in a beautiful ceremony to honour and remember Cabrini Staff, Volunteers, a Cabrini Missionary Sister and a Board Member who died in the recent past. A representative of those we honoured were presented with a rosemary bush in memory of their loved one.

The ceremony was blessed with the presence of four of our MSC Cabrini Sisters; Sr Antonina Avitabile – US, Sr Maria Elena Plata – Guatemala, Sr Maureen Bennetts – Ethiopia and our own Sr Beatriz who is based in Malvern. The Sisters sprinkled Holy water on the commemoratives plaques that were enshrined in the garden in remembrance of those who died.
