The Christmas holidays have just ended but we want to share this reflection and news with you.

Istituto Madre Cabrini of Milan participated in the nativity scene contest in the diocese of Milan and informed us that they won first prize. This is the photo of the award ceremony of the competition held by the Curia of Milan. Congratulations!

What can I do in Advent? How can I live this period?

This time requires a contemplative gaze: discovering God who has already come into the world.

Advent is the time to seek God in small and simple things, in the experiences of
others and in our daily lives.

The Lord keeps coming into my life, but how am I welcoming him?

In what ways can I take care of my heart?

Hence the commitment of our community in living this privileged time that is
Advent by trying to be less proud, more welcoming to others and to exercise
more patience.

The everyday, then becomes the place where one can express one’s faith:

TODAY is the precious time in which to remember the incarnation of the Lord Jesus.

This gives rise to a new way of living one’s daily reality, relationships with those closest to us and connected to the ordinary environments of life (our family, the place of study or work, the parish community…,),
relationships with those we meet casually or those who are distant but whom we learn to recognize as our brothers and sisters.

The 105 community wishes you a Christmas of Peace and Fraternity.
