We give thanks to God for the gifts we have received these past few weeks! Sister Luciana Galdina De Sousa and Sister Laura Elizabeth Sanchez professed their perpetual vows last January 21 and February 2, respectively. Sister Luciana in the parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Paul the Apostle in São Paulo, Brazil.

The whole Institute prayerfully supported these important moments for the Cabrinian family.

The celebration was presided over by Archbishop Juarez Marques Sousa da Silva, Archbishop of Teresina, Piauì at San Ignacio de Loyola y San Pablo Apostol parish.

On the occasion of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord and the World Day of Consecrated Life, the bishop of the Diocese of Lomas de Zamora, Monsignor Jorge Lugones SJ, presided over a Mass at which Sister Laura Elizabeth Sánchez made her Perpetual Profession.
The Mass was held in the parish of St. Albert the Great (Villa Lamadrid, Lomas de Zamora) and was attended by Sister Laura’s family and sisters from communities in Brazil, San Luis, Rosario, Buenos Aires and Ingeniero Budge, as well as faithful.

Also on Feb. 2, the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, Sr. Evarlyn Ndeti made her first profession of vows at Sacred Heart Convent in New York City. Several missionary sisters were present to witness her commitment.
