“With Jesus, united, we build our common home”.

November has arrived, and with it a month full of emotions.

October left us full of beautiful things, the beginning of the school year, new classes, classmates, reunions, new challenges.

In the school of Madrid, from 3rd grade to high school, we lived in the house of the Molinos, of the older sisters, a day of coexistence.
There, we lived together and shared a morning full of experiences, some more profound and others more playful!

A morning of prayer and reflection, and this year with interiority work, because what better way to get to know others than first getting to know oneself.
Afterwards we played several games with the teachers that helped us to get to know each other a little better.

We shared a meal and went back to school to rest and to settle everything we had experienced.

An unforgettable day!

October was also the time of the DOMUND, with its missionary spirit.

That is why a giant coin came to visit us, to remind us that our money will go to help missions like the ones we know of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, or like the one Paula and Nacho, a missionary and a seminarian, came to present to us. With them we saw the importance of giving a little to do a lot for others.

To end the month, we celebrate All Saints’ Day in Spain. Here it is very traditional to remember those who are no longer with us.
But above all, it is a time to remember that we are all called to be good, and to give the best of ourselves to others.

Therefore, in class we work on the lives of different Saints.

For us, as super heroes, with their very human virtues that we see as attainable to follow.

St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Joan of Arc, St. Anthony of Padua…and of course, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini!

Seeing these people, however, people, help us to reflect that we also have much to give, and that we are called to that holiness.

As we said at the beginning, November is coming, a great month for the Cabrinian family.

What will it bring?
