People may not be aware that there are two low- income facilities for seniors within the Guadalupe Province: one in New York City and the other in Seattle, WA.
Philip Deans has managed the Cabrini Apartments in New York City since it opened in 2005. The apartments provide low-income housing for seniors who are 62 or older. (There are currently about 700 people on the waiting list for an apartment there.) Philip is also on the board for Cabrini Senior Housing in Seattle.
On August 17, Philip enjoyed his first visit with the sisters for lunch at the Sacred Heart Convent in New York City. ~ submitted by Sr. Renee Kittelson, MSC.
