In Milan, the Central Station was named after Mother Cabrini.
The Association of Mantuans in the World and Lombards in the World, became the promoter of an itinerary to commemorate the Saint’s life, through three moments:
- An exhibition curated by Artist Meo Carbone to be held at the Pirelli Palace in Milan from February 1 to 15, 2023 under the auspices of the Regional Council.
- A conference where scholars and institutions from Cabrinian places (USA, South America and Italy) will discuss the ever-present theme of emigration, inclusion, and the formation of new citizens.
- A video of interviews, testimonies, stories. An enterprising and forward-thinking figure. Who interfaced with the powerful of his time, emancipating the last and weakest through the solidarity of institutions and individuals.
These initiatives are promoted by the Mantovani nel Mondo/Lombardi nel mondo Association and supported by the Lombardy Region.
Un percorso su Madre Cabrini
A Milano è stata intitolata la Stazione Centrale a Madre Cabrini.
L’Associazione Mantovani nel Mondo e Lombardi nel mondo, si è resa promotrice di un percorso di rievocazione della vita della Santa, attraverso tre momenti:
1. Una mostra a cura dell’Artista Meo Carbone che si terrà a palazzo Pirelli a Milano dal 1 al 15 Febbraio 2023 sotto l’egida del Consiglio Regionale.
2. Un convegno dove studiosi e istituzioni dei luoghi Cabriniani (USA, Sud America e Italia) si confronteranno sul sempre attuale tema dell’emigrazione, dell’inclusione, della formazione dei nuovi cittadini.
3. Un video d’interviste, testimonianze, racconti. Una figura intraprendente e lungimirante. Che ha interfacciato i potenti del suo tempo, emancipando gli ultimi e i più deboli attraverso la solidarietà d’istituzioni e privati.
Queste iniziative sono promosse dall’Associazione Mantovani nel Mondo/Lombardi nel mondo e sostenuta da Regione Lombardia.
