In preparation for Jubilee 2025, the Dicastery for Evangelization met last week. Here is a brief summary of that discussion:
Sr. Maria Eliane Azevedo da Silva, General Superior of the MSC and member of the Dicastery for Evangelization, took part in the Dicastery’s Plenary Assembly from March 14 to 16, 2024. This was an important opportunity for an open and meaningful debate on the work carried out under the direction of the Pro-Prefect Monsignor Rino Fisichella of the Dicastery team. Another important aspect was the presentations and thematic interventions by the members on evangelization in the world. The commitment and enthusiasm of the members and consultors present was also a formative experience in the synodal journey towards the 2025 Jubilee.

On 15 March 2024, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Pope Francis, held an audience with the members of the Dicastery. This was a space for listening and joyful communion among all.
