From April 4 to 7, the International Meeting for Pastoral Vocations was held in Codogno, Italy, where sisters and lay people discussed the challenges of pastoral vocations in our time and in our Institute. It was a chance to plan together for the future, but also to hear about the historical-social context, the situation of youth and to share the different pastoral realities present in the various missions. Accompanying the sessions were two missionary priests of the Holy Spirit from the Cruces group, Fr. Fernando Falco and Fr. Pablo Meza Pernas. The meeting then concluded on April 7 with a visit to Mother Cabrini’s birthplace in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano.

IFCT (International Formation Coordinating Team) meetings were held from April 9 to 12. The group continued working together on the formation paths of the Institute.

The Extended Council met from April 13 to 19.

On April 15, Fr. Adelson gave a talk entitled The Synodality proposed by the Church in the process of implementing the mandates of the 16th General Chapter.

On April 16, Mass was celebrated at Tabor Church.

On April 17 the laity were greeted and thanked, and after lunch the sisters went to Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, first to Mother Cabrini Nursery School and then to celebrate Sunday Mass at the Basilica of St. Anthony Abbot and St. Frances Cabrini.

We thank the Lord for this intense time of communion and sharing!
