General Council met with Provincial Superiors and Provincial/Regional Econometrics in the Generalate in Rome from May 24-31. On Saturday, May 27, the sisters took a break and went sightseeing in Rome, including a visit to the Gesù Church, and then they had lunch together.
On Pentecost Day, on the other hand, a Mass was celebrated at the General Curia presided over by Father Rogério Gomes, C.S.R. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, the mandate from the General Superior to the Provincial Superiors was held.
Then on May 30, all the sisters present these days participated in the concert “Tu nascesti dalla Vergine Madre” organized by the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music for the Licentiate and Post Gradum Diploma in Choir Direction of Sister Lucia Xiang, MSC at the Basilica of the Holy Twelve Apostles.
